Welcome to the Washington Stars Quilt Guild
We are glad you are here
In-Person Meetings started in September 2021.
However, this is subject to change due to weather, etc.
(Vaccinations and masks are welcome, but no longer mandatory.
This is always subject to change based on current health situations.)

The meeting place is:

Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1925 Boulevard Rd SE, Olympia, WA 98501
Our guild provides a forum for sharing our interest in the art and craft of quilting in all its forms through regular membership meetings, special programs, quilt shows, classes, group projects and charitable works.
You are welcome to attend one of our meetings generally held on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
However, occasionally meetings are held on a different night.
Check the Calendar to confirm meeting date.
Doors open at 6:30pm with meetings beginning at 7pm
No food or drink will be served

The first Tuesday is the General/Business Meeting. We have time before the meeting so members can visit with each other; sign up for classes, programs, retreats or other activities; buy Mega-Lotto tickets; attend committee meetings; participate in the Fabric Exchange; or check in on quilt challenges. We have “Show and Tell” at the end of the meeting. We encourage everyone, of all skill levels, to bring in their “labors of love” and receive recognition for their work from all of their quilting friends!
The third Tuesday is our Program Meeting*.  This is a time to be inspired by the work of others and/or develop our skills. Presenters can include our own Guild members, locally recognized quilters and sometimes nationally recognized experts. Topics have included using a variety of methods and techniques related to traditional piecing, art quilting, appliqué, fabric painting, embellishments, embroidery or other handwork and machine quilting.
*There is a $10 Admittance fee for Non-Members to Program Meetings.
