We rely on the generous donations of quilting cotton’s/flannels, batting and thread to fulfill our mission to our community. These donations allow us to create comfy quilts, receiving blankets, Christmas socks and grocery bags for the food bank, and placemats for Senior services (Meals on Wheels). Last year we kept about 3000 yards of fabric for our projects and gifted the remaining fabric to 9 different sister guilds/sister sewing groups for their charitable work assuring that your gift is moved to the community as quickly as possible for charitable giving.

To contact us CLICK HERE to arrange for pickups/deliveries.  If you aren’t sure if we can accept the donation please contact us so we can chat.  Often, our sister guilds/sewing groups have special requests and we will do our best to assist. We look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for your generosity.

In addition, if you are trying to reduce your stash and or scraps, we would love any precut squares in our common sizes (3.5“, 5“, 6.5“, 10“) and strips (2.5“, 3.5“, 5“, and 6.5“) as well as yardage.

You can also support Community Outreach by donating monetarily directly to Washington Stars Quilt Guild or buying an absolutely beautiful quilt donated by one of our quilt artists to the Quilt Store for the benefit of the Guild. Visit our Quilt Store HERE.

We are a 501 c 3 non-profit which means any donations, in-kind and monetary are tax-deductible. We will provide a receipt for your tax deductible donation.
