Washington Stars Quilt Guild Presidents' Blocks
Being guild co-presidents is quite an undertaking. Guild members appreciate the time, effort and dedication it takes to lead our guild in all aspects of the office. As a Thank You gift to out-going Presidents, each member is asked to create a quilt block to contribute to a memory quilt. Out-going Presidents often have a specific size or style in mind, see below for their requests.

Sharon Welsh
Sharon would prefer a Tip, Trick, or Cool idea in place of a president's block. Sharon has been our guild president prior to her 2021-2022 term and has made one president's quilt. There are so many clever ideas, tools, methods, and websites available we should be able to fill her beautiful box. Put your information for a Tip, Trick, Tool, or Cool idea on a piece of card stock or something that can be adhered to card stock (not two sided printing), provide your name, and place in the box for Sharon. You can also give your completed idea to Jayne' Nelson or mail to WSQG PO Box 1223 Olympia, WA 98507. Please return by the November Meeting.

It could be a Novelty print depicting something that you like to do; a technique that you enjoy; or just a square that makes you happy! Cory would like you to please sign your 6 1/2" block. When completed, please give to Anne Sparks. Thank you!

You may use a design and method of construction of your choosing. Please sign the front of your block avoiding the ¼-inch seam allowance*.
